This sweet holiday bread is full of dried cranberries, slivered almonds, citrus peel and delicious luxardo cherries. The fruits are soaked in a bit of whiskey and the whole loaf has a core of homemade almond marzipan running though it. After it's baked, the bread is baptized in clarified ghee and doused in sugar.
