The food

Our food focuses on natural fermentation. All our breads are naturally leavened with sourdough starter and showcase local ingredients. All of our produce is sourced from the Hood River Farmer's Market or neighboring farms. We aim to use as much freshly-milled whole grain as possible.

bread.

plain white* - our basic white sourdough loaf; light & tangy. 

​seedy loaf*- 30% whole wheat loaf full of sunflower, poppy, pumpkin & sesame seeds.  

campagne* - 70% whole wheat country loaf; rustic & dark. 

cinnamon raisin* - boozy raisins and a sweet, spiced swirl. 

​buckwheat* - 15% buckwheat starter; soft & chewy crumb. 

polenta porridge* - semolina sour with polenta and green olives folded in.

oat almond porridge* - a chewy, moist loaf with oatmeal & toasted almonds. 

​picnic sour* - seasonal dried fruit & nut loaf.

surprise loaf - semolina sour full of rotating mix in's.

​rugbrød - hearty danish rye loaf made with sprouted grains, seeds, dark beer & buttermilk.

baguette* - 15% whole wheat sour baguette.

seedy epi* - baguette shaped like a wheat stalk rolled in black sesame.

focaccia - seasonal deep dish focaccia topped with local veggies.

brioche - delicious and butter enriched bread, loaves and rolls available.

drunken snail - croissant dough with cinnamon & bourbon. 

brioche tartlet - sourdough brioche topped with curd.

frangipane fruit tartlet - crispy shell filled with almond paste and baked fruit.

brioche swirl - sourdough brioche spiral with spiced fruit filling. 

cardamom yarn balls - intricate spiced swirled knot.

chocolate babka - brioche dough swirled with decadent chocolate filling. 


lemon polenta teacake - fresh cornmeal, yogurt, Meyer lemons & local lavender. 

choco teacake - chocolate rye teacake with espresso glaze.

seasonal teacake - rotating flavors, fresh produce. 

cornbread - bloody butcher purple cornmeal, local honey & jalapeños.
