Lemon Lavender Teacake Mix
Ever want to try one of Bran & Ash's signature teacakes but aren't able to get it fresh? Try baking it in your own home! We've created a baking mix and directions so you can make your very own loaf in the comfort of your own home. Made with freshly milled Full Belly Farm's bloody butcher cornmeal as well as Lockwood Acre's organic lavender & Meyer lemon zest.
What you will need: 3 eggs, 1/2 cup full-fat yogurt, 1/2 cup olive oil (or canola), 5 tbsp lemon juice (or water).
Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and empty this bag into a bowl (save the smaller bag). Add in your eggs, yogurt, oil and 2 tbs of lemon juice or water. Mix together until smooth and pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake in the oven about 60 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean. While cooling, mix the remaining 3 tbs of lemon juice or water with the small bag of powdered sugar (you may not need all the liquid, adjust to your desired consistency). Glaze the cooled loaf and enjoy!
